Prolific bass guitarist Prince Sennah, has recently graduated with a Masters of Sciences in Energy, Trade And Finance from the Bayes Business School in London.
Popularly known to play bass for Joe Mettle, EM’Praise and other top shots, Prince took to his social media page to share an interesting story of his journey to acquiring the Masters.
He recounted how he had decided to never go through ‘academic torture’ ever again after his Political Science Degree at the University of Ghana.
However, later during his National Service with the Electricity Company of Ghana, he developed a new passion for Energy.
“I fell in deep love with words like Megawatts, Gas pipelines, power barges, FPSOs, hydroelectric power, and the likes, which I believe sparked some curiosity to delve deeper, but most importantly, it birthed a fresh desire to go back to the classroom,” he said.
He enrolled in Bayes Business School a few years later after researching what a non-science/non-engineering student like him could pursue in Energy.
“I can go on and on about the challenges—how many times I gave up in the beginning, issues of funding, and the notorious difficulty of the program itself, but that may sound extremely discouraging” he added.
He thanked his friends and loved ones who gave him positive energy and immense support throughout the journey.
