Nigeria Gospel Music Awards Rebrands As Nigeria International Gospel Music Awards, Unveils New Logo

Nigeria’s Gospel Music Awards has undergone a rebranding and is now officially named Nigeria International Gospel Music Awards.

The new name along with a new logo that symbolizes its commitment to celebrating the global impact of Nigerian gospel music was unveiled at a media briefing in Lagos.

The Team Lead and Chief Responsibility Officer of NIGMA, Kingsley Omoefe, explained that the decision to rebrand as Nigeria International Gospel Music Awards reflects the organization’s recognition of the ever-expanding reach and influence of the Nigerian gospel music on the global stage.

 

Omoefe who is a notable television and movie director stated that by embracing the international dimension of the music genre, NIGMA aims to acknowledge the remarkable achievements of Nigerian gospel artistes who have garnered acclaim and touched lives beyond the nation’s borders.

Founded in 2011, the Nigeria International Gospel Music Awards (NIGMA) is the premier awards ceremony that celebrates and honors outstanding achievements in the Nigerian gospel music industry.
