GOSPEL musician Selassie Brown is asking her colleagues not to judge secular artistes simply because they don’t sing about the word of God.
According to her, some Gospel musicians look down on secular artistes and have vowed never to work with them.
“We are all equal in the sight of God and I believe what is inside the heart is what matters most. We might not know the relationship these secular artistes have with God and the best we can do as Gospel musicians is to show love to them and see how best we can collaborate and win souls together for God”, she told Graphic Showbiz in an interview.

According to her, she does not mind featuring secular artistes on a song because she believes they do the same work.
“The fact that secular artistes don’t sing about the word of God does not mean I can’t feature them. Kofi Kinaata, Ofori Amponsah and a couple of other secular artistes do really nice songs. In fact, I listen to songs from some of these secular artistes and take inspiration from them”, she stated.
Selassie Brown has just featured Quophi Okyeame on her new song Thank You.
