On Wednesday 26th of January 2022, Joyful Way Incorporated launched their Golden Jubilee of propagating the gospel through music evangelism, impacting several youth and nurturing them into becoming responsible citizens in their fields of endeavour.
Joyful Way Incorporated (originally known as Joyful Way Singers) is a gospel evangelistic ministry, which was born 50 years ago in Cape Coast, when a group of teenage students heeded to the call to establish what we know today as Joyful Way Incorporated.

It all began around October 1971 with a thought that was deeply impressed on the heart of Rev Prof Emmanuel Lartey to form a contemporary gospel music group, while he was praying in the Lower Dormitory Prefects room of Balmer-Acquaah House in Mfantsipim School. This initially led to the formation of “Noise of Joy” involving students from Mfantsipim and Wesley Girls High School.
Around the same time, The Evangels, The Hopefuls and Calvary Victory Voices had also begun as separate gospel music groups involving other students from Mfantsipim, Adisadel College and Wesley Girls High School. The four groups would eventually merge to form what we know today as JOYFUL WAY INCORPORATED around 15th January 1972.

Since then the Group has been to the lengths and breadth of Ghana preaching in high schools, villages and in the city propagating the gospel , the Group has also ministered in the west African sub-region and in Europe and even the USA with the singular aim of winning souls for Christ.
The Group can boast of a membership of 200 young men and women who are zealous about the things of God and are kingdom minded , with about 500 associates (which include former members of the Group). The Group also has 15 albums and 120 songs to it’s credit of which most of the songs are the main stream worship songs in our churches today.
Joyful Way Incorporated plans to celebrate their 50th anniversary in style with various programs which include, internal and external conferences and discussions on issues that border on gospel music ministry both in person and on radio and TV. There will be school concerts and crusades.

There will be the launch of the Groups history book, songbook and video documentaries. There will also be the launch of the Groups 50th Anniversary Music Album. The Group will also commission their legacy Projects and finally close the year with a Thanksgiving and Fundraising Dinner, a Thanksgiving Service and our flagship Explosion of Joy Concert on the 26th of December 2022.
